Back in October, I had the great pleasure of photographing Melissa and Chad's wedding in the Atlanta suburb of Sandy Springs.
To say I wasn't expecting to shoot a wedding that day was an understatement. I was actually chilling at home in my pjs, my toddler napping on my lap. A friend posted that someone she knew was in need of a last minute photographer due to an emergency. I texted her, expecting someone else to have already filled the position. Instead, I got a call, telling me that they needed me in Sandy Springs as soon as I could get there.
Despite walking into the venue with no idea who I was photographing, I connected so well with Melissa and Chad. They were so wonderful, going with the flow and rolling with the changes in plans. They are a beautiful couple and it was such a blessing to get to meet them and photograph their wedding.
And I have to say, their reception is, to date, the only reception I have ever Tumbthumped at.
