I've been terrible about blogging this last year, but there was no way I could not blog my Key West wedding from last week!

Dianne found me through some mutual Facebook groups. It ended up being the Lord's providence because she and her husband were planning a small destination wedding in the Keys and my parents still live down there! We all braved the September heat and were thankful that Hurricane Dorian managed to miss the Keys.

Their ceremony on Fort Zachary was absolutely stunning. The vows they wrote themselves moved several guests (and me) to tears. After, we managed to dodge beachgoers and dudes in Speedos as we did their portraits. Dianne and Darryl were great sports and even climbed some rocks in their wedding gear.

Their day ended with a lively reception at the Audubon House and Tropical Gardens, which was the perfect backdrop for family photos and even more portraits. Who can resist when you have that beautiful foliage in the background?

This wedding was a long time coming and I'm so honored and blessed to have had the privilege to capture such an important day.
