Back in November 2020, I was able to help an up and coming venue in Atlanta with taking some content photos for their marketing, as they’re starting to host weddings and receptions. It was a wonderful chance to get to stretch my creative muscles and work with some new models as well.
Sarah was the first model I photographed for the venue. She wore a blush dress that is part of a traveling dress group I participate in. Though I had the dress in 2019 when we first got it, I wasn’t able to photograph it at the time, so it was wonderful to get to have someone so lovely in the dress. Sarah’s personality shone through, especially in the library of Bold Monk’s upper room. She reminded me of a queen surveying her kingdom for the photos we took out in the Biergarten.
Rebekha, the marketing director who contacted me about setting up the shoot, also stepped into her wedding dress to model. The vintage, boho feel of her dress matched her personality perfectly. She was full of laughter and smiles the whole time and even cuddled up with a cute dog for a few photos! She is multi-talented, as she is also the one who arranged the bouquets for our shoot.
The third of the models I photographed at Bold Monk was Ashley. I had not worked with Ashley before, so I was unsure what to expect. She slayed, giving me all the lovely attitude and definitely rocking my wedding dress (which has gotten far more use in my married life than I would have thought).
I also took the chance to snap a couple of detail photos with Bold Monk’s steins and their branded taps.
I loved working with this venue and look forward to shooting weddings and receptions here in the future!
