There are sessions that just speak to your soul.
I recognize that is one of the most cliche things I could probably write about an engagement session, but it's also so true.
When Asher's mom contacted me because he was planning on proposing to his high school sweetheart, I was completely floored. Katherine and I worked together a few years back when I donated some sessions to a breast cancer fundraiser she was doing. Breast cancer is a cause that is always close to my heart, so I wasn't expecting much more than helping raise money for a good cause. Katherine remembered me however, when Asher started looking for a photographer for engagement and wedding photos.
Truth be told, it was the first time I'd ever been hired before a ring was on the finger, so I was both excited and nervous for him as he started preparing to propose. Thankfully, she said yes and three days later, we were all off to Callaway Gardens for their engagement session!
Together, they are absolutely adorable. From little tidbits of us all being band nerds, to the cute stories Meghan told about her twin, it's very clear that these two are very much in love.
A very special congratulations to both Meghan and Asher. I can't wait for their wedding in July of 2022!
