"Well-behaved women seldom make history." -Laurel Thatcher Ulrich
Very rarely do I meet women that the quote above fits more than the lovely blonde bombshell that I had the pleasure to shoot on Tuesday. Going into the shoot, I was excited, simply because this was going to be the first time I was able to shoot her, and I was eager to get to share her lovely personality through some pinup style photos, as well as a couple of casual portraits.
It was actually due to her suggestion that we shot at Reed Creek Park. The greenery was lovely, and provided a wonderful backdrop to her polka dot dress. The wooded trail was amazing, as well. I am so glad that we ventured from my usual locations.
We even found some of the painted rocks that have been hidden around Augusta, and they made their way into a handful of our photos.
She was an even greater pleasure to shoot than I initially anticipated (which is hard to imagine, because I love working with her at our day job)! Every photo we took, she was amazingly poised, and the pinup style fits her so well. She was even game enough to sit with her feet dangling over the edge of a ledge above still water that could have potentially housed some unsavory creepy-crawlies, according to a sign we noticed afterwards.
During the editing process, I was excited to get to play with black and white, with splashes of color. This is one of my favorites, post-processing. I am absolutely floored by how beautiful all the photos are. I love my blonde bombshell, and I look forward to working with her again!
